Service Network Analysis Procedure

The Service Network Analysis Procedure (SNAP) is a technique to identify the optimum number, size, and location of multiple inter-related service centers.  It is a computer modeling process that can be used to select sites, balance territories, or deploy workgroups to balance workload.

We provide SNAP studies to companies, consultants, and will provide specific limited services to individuals or community groups.

The SNAP process is a sophisticated procedure to balance real estate/facility costs and travel costs/productivity while meeting pre-established response criteria.  This process is particularly well suited for merger analysis and facility siting/consolidation studies.  A recent study costing about $20,000 developed a plan that provided the utility company client with a $1.9 million savings (10 year NPV) over their previously approved alternative.  Not all SNAP studies offer a 100:1 return on investment, but they are often well over 10:1.
